Journal History

The journal "Agricultural Engineering" is one of the specialized journals branched off from the "Journal of Agricultural Sciences" which has been published since 1975 under the franchise owner of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz as one of the oldest scientific journals in the country. In order to specialize scientific publications, from the spring of 2008, Journal of Agricultural Sciences was separated to specialized publications including: 1-Agricultural Engineering (in the field of: soil science and agricultural machinery), 2-Plant Productions (in the field of: agriculture, horticulture and plant breeding), 3-Plant Medicine (in the field of: entomology and pathology Plant) and 4- Irrigation Science and Engineering (in the field: water science, irrigation and drainage). Agricultural Engineering journal is published by Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz with a scientific degree from the Publications Commission of the country (Letter No. 3522/11/3 dated 19/ 2/2009). Agricultural Engineering Journal, according to letter No. 22140/AP dated 12/12/2009 and serial 18382 of the Regional Science and Technology Information Center has received the impact factor (IF) from the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC). During the past years, it has undergone a growing evolution, until 2017, two issues are published every year, and since 2018, it has been published quarterly. Currently, the scientific and research findings of this publication are indexed in citation databases, including the citation database of Islamic World Sciences and the regional science and technology information center. It is hoped that with the cooperation of all the country's researchers and experts, the evolution of this publication will continue.

Article Processing Charges in this journal is 2,500,000 Rials for each paper.

Agricultural Engineering publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.

Plagiarism Detection

Following the regulation of scientific publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and to protect the rights and intellectual and intellectual property of researchers and prevent the publication of duplicate articles, Agricultural Engineering uses the similarity detection software Hamanandjoo (Irandoc) to ensure the authenticity of the articles sent to this journal. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through (Irandoc) software to ensure their authenticity and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers. Therefore, it is suggested that respected authors make sure that their article does not overlap with other scientific effects before sending it.
